ABOUT ME

Hey there, I'm TJ

I'm on a mission to help people move from overwhelm to embodied well-being -- not through willpower or pushing harder, but by working with the nervous system, honoring the body, and building sustainable habits that actually stick.

I am a certified Yoga + Mindfulness Teacher with a Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology from Columbia University. I have spent more than 20 years studying the research on emotion regulation, trauma and loss – and implementing those findings in my own life and with hundreds of clients across the US. I'm also completing certification in integrative nutrition, because I've learned that true resilience requires us to nourish ourselves on every level -- body, mind, and plate.

What the Credentials Don't Tell You

I deeply understand what it's like to struggle with anxiety, chronic pain, and feeling disconnected from your own body. My childhood experiences left me feeling unsafe and unworthy, and those patterns followed me into adulthood -- along with persistent headaches, fatigue, and disordered eating. What I've learned through my own healing is that our bodies hold our stories, and when we learn to listen, they can also guide us home.

My approach is grounded in three core principles:

Bottom-Up Healing

We start with the body and nervous system, because lasting change happens when we work with our biology, not against it.

Integration Over Isolation

Your stress doesn't live in just one place, so your recovery shouldn't either. Movement, mindfulness, and nutrition all play a role.

Sustainable Over Performative

One minute every day beats one hour once a week. We build resilience through small, consistent practices that actually fit your life.

Who I Help

I work with individuals who are:
EXHAUSTED from pushing through
Dealing with chronic STRESS or burnout
Struggling with SLEEP or persistent pain
Feeling undernourished and depleted
Tired of doing it ALL on your own

My Philosophy

Healing begins in the body, but it doesn't end there.
I believe that resilience isn't about bouncing back - it's about growing through. It's about slowing down enough to listen to what your body is trying to tell you, and then giving yourself the tools, support, and permission to heal from the inside out.
"This work is my love letter to those of us learning to slow down, soften, and strengthen from the inside out."
